Balloon RIde

We had booked to go on a balloon ride MONTHS ago....

Well, the day finally arrived.  I must say I really enjoyed it!  Definitely something everyone should have on their bucket list!

I am not thrilled with my pictures, as it was a bit difficult to be able to capture certain pictures depending where you were standing in the basket, plus the morning fog wasn't in favor also.

But I will let you judge for yourself.

Sunshine Skyline Bridge

I get yelled at quite often from my friends when they hear I am snapping away with my camera from the back of a bike.  I only wish they could understand how differently I see the world from there.

Bahama Beaches

I have visited the Bahamas in several occasions via a cruise line.  But my recent visit was like no other.  

I was able to enjoy it the LOCAL way!  I visited many beaches and I must say I enjoyed the east side beaches more so than the ones on the west side.

What was interesting was seeing all the conch shells along the shore in certain areas.

Day for the Birds

I had never really had the opportunity to mess around with my 70-300 mm lens.  

It was a bit of a hectic day so I told myself perhaps I should just go out and relax a bit, and what better way than to go out with my Nik.

 There were so many types of birds out.  

I guess since its SO hot these days they come out after seven like the rest of us.

Need a Diversion

Living in South Florida has its pro's. You can just drive a couple of hours south and feel as if you have driven off to a private island in the middle of no where!

  

Monuments

A definite must see in DC are the monuments!  They came be quite breath taking.  I was a little disappointed as to all the construction going on during my visit, but I still managed to take a few shots.
